The SriLankan Airlines Aircraft Engineers' Guild (SLAAEG) was established in 2015 with a clear vision of representing, supporting, and advancing the interests of aircraft engineers serving SriLankan Airlines. Formed by a dedicated group of engineering professionals, the Guild was created to strengthen unity among aircraft engineers while promoting the highest standards of professionalism, technical excellence, and aviation safety.
The founding President of SLAAEG was Rachitha Vitharanage, whose leadership played a pivotal role in establishing the Guild's foundation and guiding its early development. Under his leadership, SLAAEG was built on the principles of integrity, collaboration, professional development, and the collective welfare of its members.
Today, SLAAEG continues to uphold the values upon which it was founded, bringing together aircraft engineers in a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and the future of aviation engineering in Sri Lanka.
